Rob Pardo, SVP of game design at World of Warcraft house Blizzard Entertainment, will be presenting at the Paris Game Developers Conference in June.
Pardo will be presenting a keynote in Q&A form for the session, "In the Eye of the Blizzard." GDC Events executive director Jamil Moledina will interview Pardo on "his inspirations, challenges, and on the next steps at Blizzard Entertainment," a statement from GDC officials said.
Pardo has been with Blizzard since 1997, heading up projects such as StarCraft: Brood War, Warcraft III and the hotly-anticipated titles StarCraft II and World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King.
Paris GDC will be held June 23-24 at the Coeur Défense Convention Centre in Paris. Itll be the second French installment for GDC.
A variety of other talks will be held during the two-day event, with presenters including Valves Kim Swift (Portal), 2K Bostons Chris Kline (BioShock), SCEEs Lionel Lemarié (multi-core tuning), Cryteks Sten Hübler (Crysis) and PlayFirsts John Welch (casual gaming).
